Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026. The short version: we collect minimal data, we don't sell it, and we use it only to run the site.
1. What we collect
LongevityTech Lab is a static website. We do not run a backend server, do not require accounts, and do not ask you for personal information.
The only data collected about your visit comes from:
- Server logs (Cloudflare Pages). Standard web server logs including IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. These are retained for 30 days for security and abuse prevention, then automatically deleted.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4). Anonymized traffic analytics — page views, sessions, referrers, approximate geographic region, device category. We do NOT track individual users across sessions.
- Cookies set by advertisers. Google AdSense (and other ad networks we may work with in the future) may set cookies for ad personalization. You can manage these at Google Ads Settings.
- Cookies set by Amazon Associates. When you click an Amazon affiliate link on our site, Amazon sets a 24-hour cookie that attributes any purchase you make to our account. We do not see what you purchase — Amazon only tells us that an order was placed.
- Theme preference cookie. We store your light/dark theme choice in your browser's localStorage. This never leaves your device.
2. What we do with it
We use traffic data to understand which articles are most read, which products readers want to know more about, and to measure site performance. We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you email us, we keep your email and our reply for as long as needed to provide the response and for reasonable record-keeping. We never share your email with anyone outside our editorial team.
3. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare Pages — site hosting and CDN
- Google AdSense — display advertising
- Google Analytics 4 — traffic analytics
- Amazon Associates — affiliate program
4. Your rights
If you're located in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA), you have the right to:
- Request access to any personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of that data
- Object to processing
- Opt out of personalized advertising
To exercise any of these rights, email theowner4747@gmail.com. Because we collect so little data, most requests can be fulfilled immediately.
5. Children's privacy
LongevityTech Lab is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be noted on the homepage.
