About

We test the longevity products, so you don't have to.

LongevityTech Lab is an independent review site focused on the supplements, wearables, and devices that claim to extend healthspan. We buy products with our own money, use them, and tell you what we found.

Why this site exists

In 2023, the founders of LongevityTech Lab were spending thousands of dollars a year on NMN, resveratrol, Oura Ring subscriptions, and biological age tests — but we couldn't find a single review source we trusted. Most "review" sites were either thinly-veiled affiliate pages that recommended whatever paid the highest commission, or academic-style blogs that never actually tested anything themselves.

So we built the site we wished existed. LongevityTech Lab publishes the kind of reviews we wanted to read: long, detailed, honest about tradeoffs, and based on actually using the products over weeks and months — not just reading the spec sheet.

What we cover

We focus on three core categories of longevity technology:

  • Supplements: NMN, NR, resveratrol, spermidine, apigenin, magnesium, omega-3, vitamin D3+K2, creatine, and adaptogens. We test for purity claims, bioavailability, and value per dose.
  • Wearables: Oura Ring, Apple Watch, Whoop, Fitbit, Withings. We wear each device for 30+ days and report on real-world battery life, comfort, accuracy, and app quality.
  • Devices: Red light therapy panels, infrared sauna blankets, cold plunges, massage guns, EMF meters, sleep tracking mats. We measure output where possible and compare to peer-reviewed benchmarks.
  • Testing: Biological age tests (epigenetic clocks), DNA kits, microbiome tests, and continuous glucose monitors. We've taken every test we recommend and report on the actual user experience and report quality.

Our review process

Every review on LongevityTech Lab follows the same process:

  1. Selection. We pick products based on Amazon availability (we want readers to actually be able to buy what we recommend), category fit, brand reputation in the longevity community, and review volume (minimum 4 stars / 100+ reviews).
  2. Purchase. We buy the product at retail. We do not accept review units from manufacturers — ever.
  3. Use. For supplements: minimum 30 days of personal use, often longer. For wearables and devices: minimum 14 days of continuous use, usually 30+ days.
  4. Comparison. Every product is compared against at least two alternatives in the same category, using a structured comparison rubric.
  5. Updates. Reviews are revisited every 6-12 months and updated as new versions launch or new evidence emerges.

How we make money

LongevityTech Lab is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission from Amazon Associates. This comes at no additional cost to you — Amazon pays us out of their margin, not yours.

We also run display advertising (currently Google AdSense, with plans to apply to Mediavine once we hit their traffic threshold). Ads are clearly labeled and never appear as fake content.

What we don't do: paid placements, sponsored reviews, or "pay to rank higher" deals. Brands cannot pay us to improve their position in our comparison tables. The only thing that improves a product's ranking is genuine merit.

Our editorial standards

  • No fake rankings. Every "best for X" label is justified with a specific reason in the text.
  • No price mentions in body copy. Prices change constantly. We link to Amazon for current pricing instead.
  • No duplicated manufacturer descriptions. All product copy is original.
  • Maximum 1 affiliate link per 300 words. We don't link-stuff.
  • Clear, honest pros and cons. Every product review lists specific cons — no product is perfect.
  • FTC-compliant disclosure. Every monetized page has a visible disclosure at the top.
